Expecting, adopting, or know someone who is? Join us for our Newborn Care 101 class and get the essentials for caring for your newborn! Led by our experienced nursing team, this class will provide valuable guidance for new parents navigating the early stages of parenthood.

CPR Training

Interested in learning Heart Saver CPR? This non-certification course is perfect for the general public, especially expectant parents, caregivers, and babysitters. Through an engaging audio-visual presentation and hands-on practice, you'll learn CPR techniques and how to use an AED. The course is designed to help participants quickly recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions, and provide critical care during the crucial moments that can make all the difference in an emergency.

Instructor: Anthony Davidson, AAS , National Registry Paramedic, NC Paramedic, Level 2 Paramedic Instructor

Cost: $50 per couple or $30 per individual (additional $3 per book).  Pre-Registration & Pre-Payment Required. Call 252-726-0511 ext. 1 to register.

Parent Diabetes Education and Support

Diabetes impacts the entire family, particularly when a child or teen is diagnosed.

Connect with our educator, who understands the challenges of managing life with a diabetic child. They can provide guidance, support, practical tips, community resources, and help navigate the unique obstacles faced by both the child and the family.
