KATHARINE S. MOOREHEAD, MD

Dr. Moorehead was born in New York and spent her childhood in both New York and southern California. After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkeley, she spent 12 years working in graphic design in New York City. She earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and then Residency at NYU/Bellevue Hospital. Before relocating to Morehead City she spent 7 years in private practice with her husband and son in a coastal Maine community.

LORELI L. ROWE , MD, FAAP

Dr. Rowe was born and raised in Bath County, VA. After earning her BS in Biology and graduating Cum Laude from Bridgewater College in VA, she entered Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk where she obtained her Doctorate of Medicine. She spent the three years prior to joining our practice at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville, PA completing her pediatric residency program. Dr. Rowe, her husband Sean, and their sons enjoy spending time outdoors.

MARGARET MERRICK, MD, FAAP

Dr. Merrick was born in Tampa, Florida. Her undergraduate study was at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville where she was a DuPont Scholar and received her BA in English. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk and earned her Doctorate of Medicine. After completing her residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, she worked in private practice in Cumberland, MD for 16 years before she and her family relocated to Morehead City in 1999.

Dr. Jamison grew up in Littleton, North Carolina. After obtaining her BS in Human Biology from NC State University, she attended the Brody School of Medicine at ECU where she earned her medical degree. She then spent three years at UNC completing her residency in primary care pediatrics in Chapel Hill and Greensboro, NC. Dr. Jamison, her husband, and son love spending time at the beach and on the water.

MELANIE C. JOHNSTON, CPNP

Melanie was born and raised in New Bern, NC. After receiving her Nursing degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, she worked as a pediatric nurse at Duke University Medical Center. She left Duke to begin a career as a traveling nurse and had many wonderful experiences from Maine to California. She settled in Denver, CO to pursue her Master's in Nursing. She lived there for seven years before deciding to return to North Carolina. She now lives with her husband and younger daughter in New Bern. She has two older children and five beautiful grandchildren.

Robin was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. She is married to Paul and together they have three children. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2000. After several years of working in Maternal Child Health as a Registered Nurse at Carteret General Hospital, she decided to pursue and complete her Master of Science degree in Nursing at East Carolina University in 2013 and became certified as a Nurse Practitioner.

Bonnie was born and raised in Carteret County. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University she worked in the newborn nursery at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. After 8 years as a nursery nurse, she became a labor and delivery nurse at Carteret Health Care. Bonnie received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2020 and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She and Ricky have 2 children and live in Morehead City. Bonnie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, sports, and vacationing.
